Our theme for this cruise is Connecting...Connecting with Others, God and Ourselves. To facilitate this, we have invited corporate trainer Sheila Klein and Pastor Joel Balin. Sheila, who has sailed with All Christian Cruises to Alaska twice before, is a master of mixers and social gatherings. She will create interactive, structured activities for you to enjoy throughout the week. We are thrilled to have her back again! Sheila is a seasoned believer having accepted Jesus as her Messiah in the 1970's. As director of Management Training and Development for the world's largest Risk Management Company since the ‘80s, she has had the opportunity to design and develop over 250 management and leadership training programs impacting more than 9,000 people around the world. Sheila has a heart for singles and helping them unite in creative fun filled ways. Over the years, her highly interactive, energetic and engaging delivery style consistently produced rave reviews from class and cruise participants. We are equally joyful to share Pastor Joel Balin with you. Joel serves as Senior Pastor of CrossBridge Church. He brings over 20 years of ministry experience and has served in full time staff at the Atlanta Vineyard for over 10 years in a variety of roles: Associate Pastor, Children's Church director, youth director and Worship Arts Pastor. He is also the Southeast regional worship director for Vineyard Music USA, a conference and seminar speaker, and author of the book "The Spirit, Soul and Body of Worship". He helped establish the first two Vineyard Churches in Brazil, which led to the formation of the Association of Vineyards and Vineyard Music Brazil, one of the most successful national endeavors. Joel served on the founding pastoral board of the group Third Day, and has recorded and performed for artists and companies around the globe. He serves on the leadership team of UNiTE!, a multi-denominational movement of churches that partner together for community service and city transformation. His ministry background, gift of leading worship along with his love for people, have made him the perfect choice to lead our group into a deeper connection with each other and God. Joel has a heart to see singles released in their gifts and callings to fulfill all that God has for them. Through his insightful devotationals, Joel will help us see the awesome beauty of God's creation as expressed in the Alaskan landscape and help us recognize the beauty that God designed into each of us as his His most precious creations. Joel will illuminate God's purposes for us individually and lead us to discover how God made us to fit together as brothers and sisters in His family.
