Rabbi Eric Tokajer
Rabbi Eric Tokajer
Rabbi David Tokajer
Rabbi David Tokajer is a second generation Messianic Jew and rabbi. He is the son of Rabbi Eric and Pam Tokajer, of Brit Ahm Messianic Synagogue in Pensacola, FL. He accepted Yeshua as his Messiah at a young age and has walked in relationship with Him his whole life, and has felt a deep calling for ministry since most of his life.
In 2001, Rabbi David married Danielle, daughter of Rabbi Paul and Sally Collins of Congregation Beit Israel in Bayou La Batre, AL. In 2004, the they moved to Nyack, NY to attend Nyack College, where Rabbi David studied in the Messianic Jewish Studies program and he served as rabbinic intern at Shuvah Yisrael Messianic Synagogue in Long Island. In 2009 they moved to Thomasville, GA where he served as associate rabbi at Beit Shalom Messianic Synagogue.
Rabbi David has served in rabbinic roles in congregations in Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, New York and Georgia. He has helped plant synagogues across the Gulf Coast as well as in Manhattan, and in 2011 G-D called them to rely on Him and the experience He has provided them to plant Congregation Mayim Chayim in Daphne, AL.
Rabbi David and Danielle have two beautiful miracle children, their daughter Elyana and their son Natanel, as well as an awesome American Bulldog named Lita. Rabbi David is also an avid motorcyclist and vice-president and co-founder of The Remnant MMC, a Messianic motorcycle club.
Rabbi Eric Tokajer
Rabbi Eric Tokajer was raised in a traditional Jewish home. After his bar mitzvah, he began to study the Hebrew Scriptures more closely which brought many questions to his mind. Questions such as, if a sacrifice had to be made once a year on Yom Kippur to cover the sins of Israel from year to year, how were those sins covered now. When he was unable to find answers from the different rabbis that he asked, he became an agnostic.
While serving in the US Navy, Rabbi Eric was challenged by a believer in Yeshua (Jesus) to study the Scriptures until he found answers within them. While searching the Hebrew Scriptures, Rabbi Eric found belief in Yeshua as the promised Messiah of Israel which brought answers to all of the questions he had. It is now over 33 years ago.
Rabbi Eric Tokajer is the Rabbi at Brit Ahm Messianic Synagogue in Pensacola, Florida after having helped to start five Messianic synagogues along the Gulf Coast. He is an ordained Rabbi through the IAMCS (International Alliance of Messianic Congregations and Synagogues). He also is the Publisher and Executive Director of the Messianic Times Newspaper. In addition to these two roles, he also serves as the Theology Team Facilitator for the Tree of Life Version. He is a sought after speaker for both national and international conferences and events. He has had two books published "'Oy How did I get here' 31 things I wish someone told me before entering The ministry" and "Transient Singularity".
Rabbi Eric has been married for 34 years to his wife Pammy and they have two children David (and his wife Danielle with two children, Elyana and Natanel) and Andrew (and his wife Melissa). Both sons are married to the daughters of Rabbi Paul and Rebbetzin Sally Collins of Mobile, Alabama.
Yucatan, on Mexico’s Emerald Coast alongside the Gulf of Mexico, where hot pink flamingos gather by the hundreds and sun-bleached Maya pyramids rise from the jungle. Discover the Maya world’s natural beauty and ancient history with cruises to Progreso, Mexico.
The Conquistadors first saw Mexico from the shores of Cozumel while searching for gold. Today, visitors to the island continue to seek out gold and silver jewelry in the shops of San Miguel while having a great time in its many local bars and restaurants. Plus, the waters around Cozumel's sheltered coral reefs make this one of the best snorkeling areas in the world.
Don't miss the opportunity to explore the ruins of the ancient Mayan city of Tulúm, majestically perched above the turquoise Caribbean. The site was occupied as far back as 600 A.D. However, it was most densely populated around 1200 A.D.
You will be struck by the pyramid-shaped El Castillo, which dominates the city from atop a forty-foot cliff. The nearby Temple of the Descending God provides equally excellent insight into the architecture of the Mayan people, who gained considerable achievements in the arts and sciences, only to decline and vanish for no apparent reason.
